Hi, I'm Michael and singer of a certain band with a funny name. I like long walks in the forest and relaxing in front of the TV in the weekends - yeah, right :)
Well, myself and these guys I play with gets enough exposure already. We wanna know who you are. Come on, don't be shy. Introduce yourselves:)
Allrighty, uhm. I'm a 21 year old geek who basically just heard about Firetop Mountain, and I absolutely love the music. So inspiring and beautiful! :D
I'm a student, and I'm hopefully starting a Social Anthropology-program this autumn, with focus on research on the sexes, their role in society, stuff like that.
Anyways, I'm very much into music. I like expressing myself through music and words, and love writing poems and lyrics. Literature is also something I spend my time on. (On my profile picture I am snuggling with the book "No one belongs here more than you" by Miranda July, which is absolutely fantastic.) Me and my roomie often just sit an jam - we're constantly surrounded by our guitars and my piano, and various toy instruments. We have various band projects going on, which is really great fun. One of the bands is currently called "Redningspatruljen", and my brother, my roomie and a friend of ours Little is better than a band practice with great chemistry and musical connection between the participants.
Movies and series are also a big part of my life. I enjoy artistic movies like "Dancer in the Dark", "Donnie Darko" and "Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind", and I really love movies like Star Wars and zombie movies or splatters. Other geeky interests of mine include role playing, board games, console gaming (I have a Wii, my roomie has a NES, SNES and PS2), PC gaming (HOMM 3, Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, newer FPS), and what must be an abnormal interest for teh intarwebz and its memes, computers and Linux for girls my age (or perhaps girls in general). Guess that's what you get for growing up with an older brother who's a super geek and roleplaying fanatic. :D
Other than that... Well, I love animals, but not eating them. I like nature. I like kids. I love dancing.
I have strong opinions on most things, especially political issues, and I'm rather red and green when it comes to political colour.
Am looking forward to following and supporting Firetop Mountain, both on this forum and on concerts. Can't wait to go to see them live tomorrow - and buy the new CD (:
